Be Bright!

I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to write to you all. Currently, we are all at home- hopefully relaxed!- and enjoying time independently. We are all learning and going through this pandemic together. But sometimes being at home can be hard, and as time passes through being in quarantine we can get bored very easily. I encourage you all to take a deep breath, exhale, and I encourage you all to open your mind and think about the possibility of finding a new hobby or passion while you are at home.
Last summer, I was able to attend two weeks of apostle camp at Camp Hammer. It was the first time I was introduced to worship music. I felt bright and felt a connection with God when I started to sing and felt joyful while jumping up and down praising Him. Throughout the year, I have been busy with school and been distracted by everyday life. In my busyness, I never thought of the joy worship music brought me in the summer. Since being in quarantine, I have started listening to worship music again and have had fun trying to explore different genres of music!
I encourage you all to think back to last year. What projects did you start that you may have not finished? What music were you into? What book were you reading? During this time at home, find inspiration to get excited about continuing or find new passions or finishing projects. In Ephesians 5:8-11, it says, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light”.
Let's be children of light during quarantine, let's be bright! Everyone is different, and you may not feel that you are in darkness right now, but remember in every situation we should be thankful. We have a roof over our heads, warm blankets, music, and much more while being quarantined. We should take full advantage of being with family and getting to grow independently with ourselves as well. Since being at home these past weeks, I have been able to go back to hobbies I had to put aside in my busyness and have started listening and searching for worship music! I made a playlist for you all if you would like to check it out as well on the bottom of this page. Stay Bright Sisters!! Know your worth and know that you are loved. Feel free to email me as well if you need a friend or just a music buddy.
